vAsAMsi jIrNAni yathA vihAya navAni gRhNAti naro'parANi | tathA zarIrANi vihAya jIrNA- nyanyAni saMyAti navAni dehI ||2-22||
Transliteration
vāsāṃsi jīrṇāni yathā vihāya navāni gṛhṇāti naro.aparāṇi . tathā śarīrāṇi vihāya jīrṇāni anyāni saṃyāti navāni dehī ||2-22||
Meanings
2.22 As a man casts off worn-out garments and puts on others that are new, so does the embodied self cast off Its worn-out bodies and enter into others that are new. - Adi
