ಶ್ರೀಭಗವಾನುವಾಚ | ಅಶೋಚ್ಯಾನನ್ವಶೋಚಸ್ತ್ವಂ ಪ್ರಜ್ಞಾವಾದಾಂಶ್ಚ ಭಾಷಸೇ | ಗತಾಸೂನಗತಾಸೂಂಶ್ಚ ನಾನುಶೋಚನ್ತಿ ಪಣ್ಡಿತಾಃ ||೨-೧೧||
Transliteration
śrībhagavānuvāca . aśocyānanvaśocastvaṃ prajñāvādāṃśca bhāṣase . gatāsūnagatāsūṃśca nānuśocanti paṇḍitāḥ ||2-11||
Meanings
2.11 The Lord said You grieve for those who should not be grieved for; yet you speak words of wisdom. The wise grieve neither for the dead nor for the living. - Adi
